Job summary

Radius Recycling seeks a Recycling Operations NF Supervisor to oversee nonferrous processing, ensure health and safety compliance, and optimize production and shipping efficiency. The role requires leadership of supervisory staff and coordination with commercial operations to meet material procurement and quality standards.

Responsibilities include safety training, SOP development, equipment and inventory management, process improvements, and budgeting support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; mathematical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
• Creates H&S SOPs with Regional Safety Engineer(s).
• Provides safety and operational training; maintains training files.
• Attends Safety Committee meetings and supports safety goals.
• Directs and coordinates equipment and personnel for nonferrous operations.
• Maintains layout plan for NF processing and shipping areas.
• Implements process improvements to improve quality, profitability, or safety.
• Inspects equipment and submits maintenance work orders; handles purchases as needed.
• Manages inventory, quality control, and material pricing for NF products.
• Oversees scheduling of truck fleet and outbound material shipments.
• Ensures on-grade material reporting and proper tare/weights.
