Bucks County Community College is recruiting qualified ESL instructors for day and/or evening courses on the Newtown, Bristol, and Perkasie campuses, as well as for online instruction.

Responsibilities

• Instruct ESL students across all four domains of English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
• Create and deliver effective lessons that engage students.
• Teach according to established course objectives.
• Maintain accurate student records (attendance, contact information, etc.).
• Attend meetings and professional‑development workshops to develop instructional skills.
• Work collaboratively with other ESL instructors.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with a TESOL certification.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in English.
• Experience with SMART technology and online learning platforms is highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Experience teaching adults.
