Job summary

Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, VT is hiring for winter seasonal snowboard instructors. You’ll teach group and private lessons, deliver world‑class guest service, and create a safe, fun learning environment for guests of all ages. Starting wage is $20/hour with potential to earn more through incentives.

Housing is available; full-time and part-time hours welcome. Must be at least 16, fluent in English, and comfortable on groomed blue terrain.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable snowboarding on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Must be comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended periods.
• Minimum age: 16 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children
• Deliver world-class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school: scanning, running surface lifts, assisting with lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong snowboarders
• Other duties as assigned

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
