Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Truck Driver Non-CDL in Tacoma, WA to transfer equipment and materials within receiving or processing locations. You will operate a tractor trailer or truck with ≥26,000 GVW, following Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to move freight safely and efficiently.

The role requires 3–5 years of driving experience and a valid Driver’s license, with exposure to yard work and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of driving experience and a valid Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to and from production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers using trucks and other equipment.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew, and ensure vehicle and equipment are properly positioned.
• Perform inspections of assigned vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
• Report all vehicle defects, accidents, violations, or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
