Job summary

Imperial Brady in Traverse City is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver to support daily route deliveries. You will operate a 24’ box truck with GVW up to 25,999, load/unload with pallet jack, lift gate, and provide friendly customer service.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (or until the daily route is completed). You will load/unload cargo, maintain safety checks, and report issues to dispatch while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A good driving record.
• 1 year of route delivery experience.
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted.
• Must pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to stops per day.
• Unload merchandise using hand, pallet jack, and dolly; deliver to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW.
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip and report issues to dispatch.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 3:30pm (or until the daily route is completed).

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You have:

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
