Job summary

Imperial Brady is hiring a Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Elkhart, IN. The role involves delivering products to stops each day, unloading using hand tools and pallet equipment, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm or until the route is complete, with responsibilities including vehicle inspections, logging activity, and communicating with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of route delivery experience.
• At least 1 year of manual pallet jack/hand truck experience.
• Lift gate experience is required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and unassisted.
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug test.

As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to stops per day. You will need to unload the merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly, and deliver it to the customer's preferred location. Providing exceptional customer service is a crucial aspect of this role.

You will work from Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:00pm, or until the daily route is completed.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude

You have:

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam.
