Job summary

Imperial Brady in Traverse City, MI seeks a Class B Delivery Driver to join a growing transportation group. You will manage a daily route, unloading and delivering to customer locations while delivering friendly service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm (or until route completed). Must have CDL B, pass DOT medical, and have at least 1 year of route delivery and pallet jack experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license required.
• DOT Medical Exam pass required.
• Good driving record.
• Minimum 1 year CDL B experience.
• Minimum 1 year route delivery experience.
• 1 year of pallet jack/hand truck use.
• Lift gate experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds unassisted.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 24' box truck (GVW 26,000) safely.
• Unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate.
• Deliver products to customer locations and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain an activity log.
• Report issues to dispatch.
• Inspect the truck before and after trips.
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude.

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm, or until daily route completed.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24' box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver's license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
