Position Overview

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for non‑CDL driving positions. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods. Successful candidates will lead moving crews, interact with customers daily, and grow within the company.

Essential Functions and Duties

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading and unloading shipments on to and from the truck.
• Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipments.
• Assist in loading trucks and containers for interstate movement.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections on truck, moving equipment, interior and exterior, straps, tensioners, walkboards, etc.
• Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Willingness to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality; ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Real ID, Complaint ID, or Driver’s License preferred.

Working Conditions

Indoor and outdoor work.

Must lift objects up to 50 pounds, frequently squat, bend, use stairs, and drive for long periods.

Scholarship Program

Summer Intern Scholarship: $500 for the first full summer internship, $750 for the second, and $1,000 for the third or more. Must be a summer seasonal associate in a non‑management position such as Helper, Packer, Driver, or Warehouseman. Proof of enrollment for current fall classes and full‑time work through the season are required, along with supervisor acknowledgment of good performance and attendance.
