Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dynamic Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critical care patients and contribute to the growth and career development of the team.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with nocturnal care management, performing procedures, interpreting tests, prescribing medications, and providing education, consultation, and research support.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification is required.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Nocturnal care management of critical care patients.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Provide education, consultation, and participate in research.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary nocturnal care team.
