Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix seeks an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critical care patients and contribute to growth and career development within the division.

The role involves nocturnal care management, procedures, test interpretation, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research participation. New grads with critical care exposure are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification is required.
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS current.
• DEA license for controlled substances required.
• Experience in critical care encouraged for new grads.

Responsibilities

• Provide nocturnal acute/critical care management for patients.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic procedures and interpret tests.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with scope of practice.
• Educate, consult, and participate in research within the unit.
