Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critical care patients, perform procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, educate, consult, and engage in research.

New grads with critical care exposure are encouraged to apply. The position offers full-time night shifts (3-12 hour shifts per week) with some rotating weekend coverage, located at Banner University Medical Center

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
• Experienced or new grads with prior critical care experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Directly manage critical care patients in a nocturnal critical care division.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Provide education, consultation, and participate in research.
