Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Nocturnal Critical Care team. The ACNP will directly manage critically ill patients in a department focused on growth and career development.

The ideal candidate will perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, educate, consult, and contribute to research. New grads with critical care experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
• Experienced or new grads with critical care experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Involved in nocturnal care management of critically ill patients.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and interpret diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications, educate, consult and participate in research.
