FirstLight, headquartered in Albany, NY, is seeking a NOC Technician I to monitor and maintain the core network. The role requires triage and rapid repair across shift 11pm–8am, with hybrid/remote flexibility within FirstLight's service area.

Responsibilities include 24-hour surveillance, ticket queue cleanup, and customer follow-ups. Strong networking knowledge and basic equipment familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Technical school is highly recommended.
• Cisco certifications and VoIP fundamentals a plus.
• One or more years of NOC experience or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and professional interaction with all levels of employees.

Responsabilités

• Provide 24-hour Network Health surveillance and alarm reporting.
• Review and clean up the ticket queue and ensure timely resolutions.
• Follow up with customers via e-mails or phone calls.
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform carrier route testing.
