Job summary

Leidos seeks a Network Technician to support DISA-provided GIG capabilities at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The role includes 24/7 monitoring, incident analysis, fault isolation, and coordination with service providers to restore services and meet DISN SLAs.

You will create and update tickets in ServiceNow, monitor events across multiple tools, and provide global situational awareness to customers. DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification and an active clearance are required, with 2–4 years of related

Qualifications

DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date.
Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
High school diploma and 2–4 years of related work experience.
Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, and performance management.

Responsibilities

Create and update tickets utilizing Service Now.
Monitor network events and element management in real time on a 24x7x365 basis.
Conduct incident correlation and fault analysis to resolve alarm conditions.
Notify necessary points of contact based on networks, circuits or location incidents.
Diagnose and troubleshoot to isolate fault locations and corrective actions.
Restore network services and coordinate with providers to meet SLAs.
