Job summary

Midco of South Dakota, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Operations Center professional to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across fiber, video, data and voice services for Enterprise and Wholesale customers. The onsite role is based in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering and Field Operations, managing incidents and changes, performing maintenance checks, and producing operational reports while upholding Midco’s privacy guidelines and core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational certification in technology field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years in NOC/Engineering/Network Operations (telecom/cable industry preferred).
• NCTI Operations Center Technical Support I or equivalent commitment within first year.
• Cisco routing and switching coursework within first year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot multi-service fiber network including Enterprise IT and Wholesale services.
• Coordinate mitigation and resolution of service outages with internal teams and third parties.
• Enter events in ticketing system and document troubleshooting steps.
• Perform pre-delivery testing and post-change validation for carrier circuits.
• Provide regular updates to users and management on high priority events.
