Job summary

IDR is seeking a NOC Technician to join one of our top clients in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on skilled assessments and technical analysis of outages across the Enterprise to isolate root cause and document findings for escalation.

Requirements include 2+ years in a NOC or Data Center environment, experience installing and racking server/network equipment, and escalating Tier II/III alerts. You will also provide end-user support by phone, email, and chat.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a NOC or Data Center environment.
• Experience installing and racking server and network-based equipment.
• Experience escalating Tier II and Tier III alerts to the appropriate tech support group.
• Experience providing technical support for end-users via phone, email and chat.

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the NOC Technician:

The NOC Technician will make skilled assessments and perform technical analysis of problems and outages as they occur across the Enterprise to evaluate/isolate root cause. The position will also document and escalation Tier 2 and Tier 3 critical alerts to the appropriate tech support group.

Required Skills for the NOC Technician:

• Schedule:(6:00pm - 6:00am) (Sun-Wed or Wed-Saturday)
• 2+ experience working as a NOC or Data Center Technician
• Experience installing and racking server and network-based equipment
• Experience escalating Tier II and Tier III alerts to the appropriate tech support group
• Experience providing technical support for end-users, over the phone, through email and chat
