Job summary

VMP Healthcare & Community Living in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced RN Supervisor to coordinate nursing personnel and ensure the highest quality care for residents. You will implement policies, supervise staff, and operate within licensure requirements while coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires strong leadership, clinical assessment skills, and a focus on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of Wisconsin.
• 3-5 years geriatric care experience preferred.
• Must meet all qualifications for RN staff nurse.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to ensure quality resident care.
• Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor documentation accuracy and completion.
• Respond to emergencies and incident reports as needed.

SUMMARY

Assume responsibility for coordinating nursing personnel to assure optimal delivery of nursing care to residents on a shift, implementing administrative responsibilities, activities, policies, and procedures for the skilled nursing facility while working within their scope of practice and licensure.
