Job summary

Talanto is seeking a NOC Engineer I – Outage Management to monitor network health across Core and Access Broadband networks, coordinate outage resolution, and analyze performance issues. You will work with engineering and operations teams to restore services quickly and maintain reliability.

The role emphasizes outage isolation, ticket creation, root cause analysis, and collaboration across Voice, IP, and transport networks, while delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of professional network operations experience or five or more years of related engineering or technical experience.
• CCNA certification preferred.
• Ability to work a 24/7 operational schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong commitment to service quality, customer support, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate network outages across Voice, Video, IP, Transport, OSP, and Local Operations teams.
• Perform event notifications for internal teams, leadership, and customers.
• Assist with third party ticket creation and escalation for offnet outages.
• Support outage isolation, troubleshooting, and chronic issue identification.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated network performance issues; assist with root cause analysis.
