Job summary

NewGen Technologies is seeking an experienced NOC/CSOC leader to manage 24x7x365 operations for a US government-aligned enterprise. You will oversee Tier 1–2 engineers, coordinate maintenance, and ensure continuous monitoring, incident response, and cyber defense across Azure Government, on-premises, and cloud environments.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI FSP clearance and demonstrate expertise in Sentinel, Azure, ITSM, and third-party vendor escalations to drive improvements in monitoring,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical personnel.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, network monitoring, cybersecurity monitoring, and IT service management.
• Experience coordinating maintenance windows, infrastructure changes, outages, and service restoration.
• Experience working with telecommunication carriers, ISPs, OEM vendors, Microsoft/cloud providers, MSPs and other third-party providers.
• Ability to identify operational trends and drive monitoring automation and escalation improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical personnel
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure monitoring coverage before, during, and after changes
• Oversee maintenance windows, outages, and service restoration activities
• Manage escalations involving carriers, ISPs, vendors, cloud providers and MSPs
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve monitoring, automation, escalation, and efficiency
