Job summary
Boingo seeks a NOC Analyst to monitor and maintain its global Wi‑Fi and DAS network footprint from its Frisco, TX hub. You’ll manage provisioning infrastructure and respond to incidents, ensuring SLAs are met while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
The role requires on‑site work Tue–Thu and proactive fault detection in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in NOC or Tier 3 roles, strong LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi knowledge, Linux administration experience, and familiarity
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in Tier 3 or NOC role in a service provider environment.
- Minimum 3 years with LAN/WAN, routing/switching, Wi-Fi networks.
- Experience with Linux support, server/app monitoring, diagnostics and scripting.
- Strong understanding of RADIUS, DNS, firewall, VPN, VLAN, WLAN.
- Experience with Cisco hardware configuration and change management.
- On-site work Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Monitor availability and performance of server infrastructure and networks.
- Respond to alerts with classification, triage, diagnostics and escalation.
- Diagnose and repair network issues remotely.
- Create, update and route trouble tickets through resolution.
- Adhere to response timelines to meet quarterly network goals.
