Job summary

GTECH LLC in Columbus, OH seeks a Network Administrator to manage the company\'s network infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting. Job description

• Manages network infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Identify the causes of networking problems by using diagnostic testing software and equipment.
• Ensures network performance, security, and reliability, often working with switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Core Expectations: Strong experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 Help Desk/Desktop Support
• Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Linux administration and system management is highly preferred
• Regular Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• On-Call Rotation: Required approximately once every 6-8 weeks, including weekends as needed
• On-Call Hours: 11:00 PM Friday through 11:00 PM Sunday
• Work Model: Hybrid, with onsite presence required for testing, troubleshooting, or other business needs
• Location Preference: Local candidates based in or near Columbus, Ohio are strongly preferred.
