Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Vascular Surgeon in Wilmington, DE to lead wound care initiatives without routine night calls. The role supports full-time or part-time engagement with a focus on arterial and venous wound management and preserving vascular surgical skills in a patient-centered setting.

You will work in facilities across the region, evaluating complex wounds, performing debridement as needed, and collaborating with post-acute care teams to optimize healing and outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO trained in vascular surgery.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Wound care training will be provided.
• Open background welcomed and considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic wounds, including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams to follow healing progress.
• Lead wound care initiatives across facilities in the area.
