Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA seeks a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role allows you to maintain surgical skills without heavy on-call nights.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, treat arterial/venous/diabetic wounds, and collaborate with facility teams. Training is provided; full-time or part-time options available; independent contractor pay with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; wound care experience not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting.
