Qualifications

• MD or DO with valid medical license in the state.
• Comprehensive wound care training; prior wound care experience not required.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open to surgeons from all backgrounds; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluate chronic, non-healing and complex wounds including arterial/venous/diabetic ulcers.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with SNFs and post-acute teams to follow patients through healing.
