Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. You will use your vascular training for arterial, venous, and diabetic wounds, while enjoying a no-call Monday–Friday schedule and the option for either full-time or part-time work.

This role keeps bedside procedures and debridement, with autonomy and reduced hours compared to traditional vascular surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
