Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes a no-call, Monday-to-Friday schedule with opportunities to maintain surgical skills in debridement and bedside procedures.

The position offers full-time or part-time options with compensation in the $200,000 to $300,000 range for full-time, plus bonuses. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, an unrestricted license in the state, and DEA eligibility;

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting; follow patients through healing.
