Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Wilmington, DE seeks a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers clinical autonomy and the chance to practice outside high-pressure hospital settings.

Full-time or part-time positions with compensation between $200,000 and $300,000 per year, plus per-patient and per-procedure pay and quarterly bonuses. Training provided; life-work balance emphasized.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.
• No previous wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
