Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in SNFs. The role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule, allowing you to maintain surgical skills while focusing on arterial, venous, and diabetic wounds.

Open to part-time or full-time Wound Care physicians with MD/DO, unrestricted state license, and DEA license. Training provided; competitive independent contractor pay structure.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
