Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in San Jose, CA seeks Trauma Surgeon to join as a wound care physician, leading initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call lifestyle for a full- or part-time position, allowing you to focus on surgical skills without overnight trauma activations.

You will perform debridement, wound evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with clinical autonomy and streamlined documentation through our custom software, to help patients heal and return home.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trauma surgery expertise in wound care settings.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
