Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a General Surgeon in San Jose, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday role lets you keep clinical autonomy and your personal life while staying connected to advanced wound care techniques.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Open background; no wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Use advanced dressings and wound protocols
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing
