Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in San Jose, CA is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday position offers clinical autonomy outside the hospital and a healthier work-life balance.

You will perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures, treat chronic wounds, and use our streamlined documentation to finish work by evenings. An MD/DO with an unrestricted California license (DEA eligibility) is required; training in wound care is

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Open background welcome; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting.
