Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in San Jose, CA is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call schedule, allowing you to maintain a Monday–Friday routine while using your surgical skills daily.

Qualifications include an MD/DO and an unrestricted license in the state. Expect to perform debridement and bedside procedures with clinical autonomy and a focus on high-impact patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily care.
• Evaluate chronic and complex wounds and implement advanced protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize patient outcomes.
