Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is hiring General Surgeons in Nashville, TN to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

You trained for years to become a General Surgeon, but this no-call role offers clinical autonomy, focused wound care, and a schedule designed for life outside medicine. MD or DO with an unrestricted license is required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility)
• DEA license (or eligibility)
• Open background welcome; no prior wound care experience required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings
