Skilled Wound Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities in the area. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule and the opportunity to practice autonomously outside the hospital.

You will perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures while advancing wound care protocols, with per-patient and per-procedure pay and quarterly bonuses for top performers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.

Responsabilités

• Surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing.
