Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Brentwood, TN seeks a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with autonomy to apply surgical expertise in a focused setting away from high-pressure hospitals.

You will continue to perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and collaborate across post-acute care teams to improve patient outcomes. Competitive compensation aligns with leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and other procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities in post-acute settings and follow patients through healing.
