Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Memphis, TN is seeking a General Surgeon to join as a wound care physician and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities around the area. This no-call, Monday–Friday role lets you maintain surgical skills such as debridement and bedside procedures, while enjoying clinical autonomy and reduced administrative burden thanks to our custom software.

Candidates should hold an MD or DO, an unrestricted state license, a DEA license, and be open to wound care

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible).
• DEA license or eligible.
• Wound care training provided; no prior wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities in post-acute care.
