Skilled Wound Care in McKenzie, TN is seeking a General Surgeon to join as a wound care physician and lead initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role features a no-call Monday–Friday schedule, preserving evenings and weekends for family life, while keeping core surgical skills active.

Applicants must have an MD or DO, unrestricted license in Tennessee, a DEA license or eligibility, and a willingness to be trained in wound care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No previous wound care experience required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsabilités

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
