Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Billerica, MA to join the Probes Team. You will test, repair, and requalify NMR-based systems, analyze results, and provide hands-on technical support to customers at their facilities.

You will install and qualify new equipment, train customers on operation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while communicating across the service network.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Biotech discipline.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on work experience operating and troubleshooting NMR equipment.
• Ability to run samples and read Spectra reports.
• Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
• Excellent customer focus with ability to respond to inquiries from scientists with advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate repaired and returned equipment.
• Run samples, analyze results and report findings.
• Perform requalification of used systems, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Provide technical assistance to test, install, service, and repair probes and equipment.
• Install new or modified systems or accessories at customer facilities and ensure full functionality.
