Job summary

Bruker in Billerica, MA seeks a Field Service Systems/Applications Engineer to install, qualify, and train customers on Bruker Nano instruments. You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, and develop new applications for enhanced instrument performance.

Travel domestically and internationally is required; a strong scientific background and customer focus are essential to enable customers with Bruker technology and support ongoing field operations.

Qualifications

• PhD in a scientific or engineering field or MS with relevant experience, or BS with relevant experience.
• Expertise with Atomic Force Microscopes highly desired.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, and train customers on Bruker nano instruments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot instrument issues with minimal guidance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and post-sale support.
• Develop new applications and train users.
