Job summary

JEOL USA, Inc. seeks a highly skilled NMR Applications Spectroscopist to provide advanced scientific support for JEOL NMR systems. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, delivering hands-on NMR expertise, training, and product advocacy to drive customer success.

The role combines technical training and pre/post-sales activities, with opportunities to influence product development and software enhancements based on customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, or related field.
• Experience in industrial or customer-facing NMR roles preferred.
• Hands-on NMR experience with one major platform.
• Knowledge of 1D/2D NMR and multinuclear experiments.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical and scientific support to JEOL NMR customers before and after installation.
• Implement, demonstrate, and optimize NMR experiments for customer applications.
• Conduct customer training on JEOL NMR hardware, software, and modern techniques.
• Support Sales and Marketing through pre-sales demos and technical consultations.
• Advise on experimental design, feasibility, and best practices for NMR spectroscopy.
• Attend conferences and user meetings to stay updated on NMR methods.
• Promote JEOL NMR products through presentations and application notes.
• Serve as liaison between customers and JEOL R&D with structured feedback.
