Zusammenfassung

The University of Virginia School of Nursing is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the daily operations, administration, and scientific management of an NIH-funded grant. You will connect the PI, co-investigators, staff, and external partners to ensure milestones and regulatory requirements are met on schedule.

Responsibilities include coordinating milestones across teams, managing IRB protocols, monitoring expenditures, and preparing progress reports.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or equivalent degree in nursing, public health, health sciences, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Direct NIH grant management experience preferred (R01/U01/P30 or similar).
• Neuro-oncology research experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; knowledge of NIH policies and human subjects protections.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day NIH-funded study execution according to protocol, timeline, and aims.
• Coordinate milestones and task assignments across multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and maintain IRB protocols, annual continuations, amendments, and adverse event reports.
• Monitor grant expenditures and budget projections with the research administration office.
• Liaise between research team, NIH program officers, advisory boards, and external partners.
• Assist PI with progress reports, budget modifications, and no-cost extensions.
• Mentor staff and coordinate student workers as applicable.
