Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Research Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of large-scale, externally funded research initiatives, including NIH-funded projects in Springfield, MA.

The position is fully grant funded through 8/31/2030, with responsibilities spanning research operations, budgeting, reporting, and collaboration across sites. Must have strong analytics skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5 years’ experience developing, implementing and analyzing health research/health education activities.
• Strong theoretical and analytic skills; demonstrated ingenuity.
• Experience in problem-solving and collaboration between investigators and institutions.
• Expertise in data management and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with funding agencies and study personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all phases of assigned research projects, including recruitment, data collection and data management.
• Monitor grant expenditures and develop budget projections; support annual budgets and reports.
• Prepare quarterly and annual progress reports for external funding agencies and contribute to grant proposals.
• Develop and maintain research site collaborations with investigators and subcontractors.
• Recruit, supervise and evaluate research staff and trainees; orient new personnel.
• Oversee data analysis processes and train team members as needed.
• Plan and document steering committee and data analysis meetings.
