Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent communications skills.
• Two years of paid commercial building custodial experience required.
• One year of public school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors; dust furniture; clean windows.
• Disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Clean assigned offices/classrooms.
• Move and arrange furniture for events.
• Collect and dispose of garbage; clean chalkboards and erasers.
• Perform minor maintenance such as unstopping sinks and changing bulbs.
• Secure building and set alarms.
• Assist staff and community groups.
• Other related work as directed by the building manager or custodial supervisor.
