Job summary

Bellevue School District is seeking a Custodian to perform custodial work in and around school buildings, maintain clean and safe facilities, and report conditions to the supervisor.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, offices, and fixtures; moving furniture for events; securing the building and performing minor maintenance; and assisting staff as needed. This is a part-time, on-site role with weekend/evening shifts as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or demonstrated reading/writing ability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors; clean and maintain equipment; empty trash and recycle; clean furniture and fixtures; wash windows; vacuum carpets and curtains.
• Disinfect restrooms; supply paper towels and soap; clean assigned offices/classrooms.
• Move furniture and set up for events; secure building and report issues; perform minor maintenance such as changing bulbs and unstopping sinks.
