Job summary

The YWCA of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Service Advocate for the Holyoke Young Parent Program. This full-time overnight position supports adult, teen and child participants in residential programs, following trauma-informed practices and a family-centered approach.

You will work 11pm–7am Sunday through Thursday, with a starting hourly rate of $21 plus a $1.25 overnight incentive, and participate in 24/7 program coverage.

Qualifications

• A.A. or equivalent education in a human services field is preferred.
• At least one year of counseling and direct service experience.
• Experience in a domestic violence setting and with survivors of gender-based violence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and advocacy to adult, teen and child program participants.
• Engage in trauma-informed, strengths-based, family-driven care.
• Ensure safety checks and 100% documentation of shifts and AWARDS logs.
• Assist with child care and supervision; support mothers during crises.
