Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager for the Salt Lake City site. You will oversee day-to-day warehousing, receiving, and shipping, plan inbound/outbound volume, and manage space and equipment usage.

You’ll lead hiring, training, and performance evaluations, stay aligned with client SLAs, and drive cost-saving continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals; comply with client SLAs.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Meet client KPIs and comply with quality requirements.
• Coordinate hiring, training, and performance evaluations with HR.
