Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager for an overnight shift (6pm–6:30am) at our Salt Lake City site. You will supervise warehousing, receiving and shipping, plan inbound/outbound volumes, and lead a team to meet client SLAs while focusing on safety and cost management.

Under the General Manager, you’ll hire and train staff, manage performance, and drive improvements across processes and SOPs to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for this role.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems and procedures for safe and profitable operations.
• Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals.
• Drives continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Meets client KPIs and Quality requirements.
• Plans daily work schedule and assigns duties to warehouse staff.
• Ensures training delivery and SOP adherence.
• Leads meetings with key customers and coordinates visits.
