Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a Nursing Supervisor for the Patient Care Coordinators office in downtown Orlando. You will ensure safe, timely patient flow, provide operational oversight, respond to codes, and maintain staffing across units each shift.

The role requires RN licensure in Florida, a BSN, and leadership experience. You will coordinate with leadership, manage resources, and act as a central resource for policy and compliance, including bereavement and autopsy coordination when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current Florida RN license.
• National Certification in a specialty area within 2 years.
• Maintains current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates timely and safe patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Provides staffing oversight and coordinates with leadership and staffing office.
• Responds to emergency codes and house alerts.
• Oversees documentation for census, events, and flow outcomes in EHR and bed management systems.
• Serves as Incident Commander for HICS events until administrator arrives.
• Mentors and coaches team members; provides education and crisis management support.
