Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Park is seeking an experienced RN with leadership skills to supervise PCU/ICU units and coordinate patient care during the night shift. This role emphasizes safe staffing, clinical mentorship, and proactive collaboration with nursing teams and physicians.

Responsibilities

Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions and staffing needs.
Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to emergencies, and manages clinical events.
Acts as liaison for patient movement, bed assignments, and cost-effective resource management.
Represents nursing administration during off-shifts and serves as incident commander during disasters.
Fosters exceptional patient experiences through clear communication with patients, visitors, staff and leadership.
