Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an Administrative Supervisor for the Emergency Services department to oversee off-shift operations and ensure safe, quality patient care in an acute care setting.

The role requires an RN license in Florida, 2 years of acute care experience, and leadership capabilities including staffing oversight and crisis management. BLS is required; specialty certifications per area may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license; National Certification in a specialty area within 2 years.
• Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse in the acute care setting.
• Current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required by specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical resource agent to nursing units and allied health departments for problem solving within a shift.
• Ensure safe and timely patient flow throughout the facility and coordinate transfers.
• Oversee staffing resources with department leadership and corporate staffing office.
• Provide leadership presence and act as Incident Commander for all emergency code events until administrator arrives.
